How that number is made: the 4.9/5 is our Google listing's rating over the last 12 months — not the all-time average, which would flatter us — and the count is every review since 2016, unfiltered. We recompute the window figure each quarter and update this page when it moves. Reviews are public Google content; we quote first names only.
We don’t only show the good ones
The reviews we feature here are strong ones — but our Google listing is open to anyone, lower ratings included, and we don’t hide them. When a guest tells us we got something wrong, that is the feedback that actually changes how we run the next trip. You’ll notice a few of the stories below name the hiccup as well as the fix. That is deliberate: a perfect wall of five stars is easy to distrust, and it isn’t the truth of running trips across islands and ferries. The structural fixes behind these stories — the written quote, the named on-trip manager, the escalation number — are spelled out on our about page; this page is where guests report how they hold up.

“Since we were traveling with an infant, Tropical Andaman Tours was very helpful in customising our hotels and trip schedule, they suggested a proper itinerary to suit my little one in terms of hotels which will provide baby food on request, ruled out any places not worth visiting(walk a long distance, no proper shade for feeding purpose, etc).”
Diving & water activities
Scuba, sea walk and kayak bookings — including the day cash and UPI both failed and it still got sorted across two islands.

4.9 out of 5 on Google, measured over the last 12 months, across 900+ reviews collected since 2016. That is the honest, current number; we recompute the recent-window figure every quarter rather than quote an all-time average that flatters us.
