Andaman tour packages from Bangalore

The land package is ours from ₹15,000 per person; the Bangalore flight is the part worth planning well — direct in season (about 2.5 hours), via Chennai or Kolkata off-season, typically ₹6,600–20,000 return. We plan the trip end to end from Port Blair and sequence it around your flight, not the other way round.

The Bangalore flight picture, honestly

  • The routing, honestly

In season, Bangalore has direct flights to Port Blair — about 2.5 hours. Off-season the directs thin out and you usually connect through Chennai or Kolkata, at 4–5 hours end to end. The schedule shifts season to season, so we check what is flying on your dates.

  • Typical return fare

₹6,600–20,000 depending on season, routing and lead time. December–January sits at the top of the band; book early and mid-season fares drop sharply.

  • Take the morning departure

Leave Bangalore on an early flight so you reach Port Blair the same afternoon with daylight to spare. A late connection risks arriving after dark — fine, but a wasted evening.

  • Never same-day ferry

Your inter-island ferry is never booked on your arrival day. First night is Port Blair, so a delayed connection never cascades into a missed crossing.

Every departure city, the airport and transfer logistics are in our how to reach Andaman guide.

Packages and what they cost from Bangalore

Land packages cost the same from any city — what Bangalore changes is the flight. Prices are per person on twin sharing, and your exact quote is itemised in writing.

Flight band is the typical BLR–IXZ return range as of July 2026 — December–January sits at the top, and early booking moves you down the band more from Bangalore than from any other metro. Land prices are starting points and move with dates, hotel tier and activities.

Why book from Bangalore with a Port Blair operator

Because the part of the trip that goes wrong is never the flight — it is the ferry that got rescheduled, the hotel that "upgraded" you sideways, the pickup that did not show. Those are on-island problems, and we are on the island. Your coordinator is in Port Blair, watching the same sea and the same schedules your trip runs on — not in a call centre reading a screen. Booking direct also means no aggregator margin stacked on top, and a best-price match on any like-for-like written quote.

Bangalore-to-Andaman questions, answered straight

How much does an Andaman package cost from Bangalore?

The land package is the same price from any city — ours start at ₹15,000 per person for a short 3-night trip, and a typical 5N/6D lands between ₹28,000 and ₹45,000 per person with hotels, ferries, transfers and activities included. From Bangalore you add the flight: typically ₹6,600–20,000 return. So a realistic 5-night budget from Bangalore is roughly ₹35,000–60,000 per person all-in, before personal spends.

Is there a direct flight from Bangalore to Andaman?

Yes — in season. Direct Bangalore–Port Blair flights run at about 2.5 hours, but the schedule changes between season and off-season: in the October–May season directs are usually available, and off-season you typically connect through Chennai or Kolkata at 4–5 hours end to end. Tell us your dates and we will check what is actually flying before you book anything.

How many days are enough from Bangalore?

Five to six nights. Even with a direct flight, a very short trip spends too much of itself in transit — 5 nights gives you Port Blair, two unhurried nights on Havelock and a stop on Neil. If you can stretch to 6, the pace gets noticeably kinder. Fewer than 4 nights from Bangalore is not worth the airfare.

When should I book an Andaman trip from Bangalore?

For October–January travel, 6–8 weeks ahead — peak-season flights out of Bangalore climb steeply as seats fill, and the good sea-view rooms go first. February–May is calmer; a month ahead usually works. June–September is monsoon: cheaper and greener, but ferries can get cancelled on rough days — we will tell you honestly whether your dates make sense before you pay.

Do your packages include the flight from Bangalore?

Package prices cover the on-ground trip — hotels, ferries, transfers and the listed activities. Flights are usually booked separately, and we advise on the best Bangalore routings and timings for your dates so the package sequences cleanly around your arrival. Everything that is included is itemised in one written quote.

Is Andaman better than Goa or Maldives for a trip from Bangalore?

Different trips. Goa is a shorter, cheaper hop but a very different (and busier) beach scene. The Maldives comparison is the one we get asked weekly — the honest version, resort maths included, is in our Andaman vs Maldives guide. The short answer: for clear water and quiet beaches on an Indian budget and passport, the Andamans are hard to argue with.
